Thank you for visiting our USA based YAD EZER L'HAVER landing page. Be sure and go to the complete Israeli site linked below to see the breadth and scope of this organization. This landing page was formed by the Logos Global Network and the many friends and supporters of YAD EZER L'HAVER in joining arms with this longstanding tradition in Israel. "Always Remember (zachor) and Never Forget (lo tishkach)"
YAD EZER L'HAVER was founded in 1995 in Haifa. In 2001, it became an association registered with the Registrar of Associations. The background for its establishment was the difficult economic and social situation of Holocaust survivors. Today, the association operates Kiryat Chesed LaTiferet, which is home to more than 120 Holocaust survivors who previously lived below the poverty line. In addition, the association distributes hundreds of hot meals to Holocaust survivors every day through the association's specialty house, which has been established for more than 3 decades. The association also operates the "Children's Home" for children and youth at risk.
“LET'S HELP UKRAINE TOGETHER"
After a long and arduous journey of hardship under shelling and heavy fire and in no way, today (Friday, March 25, 2222) members of the humanitarian delegation of the Yad Ezer LaHaber organization headed by the expedition's founder and CEO Shimon Sabag rescued 4 Holocaust survivors over 80 from the fighting in Ukraine who will soon immigrate to Israel. The four Holocaust survivors were successfully located, rescued and evacuated from their homes, which were destroyed by members of the delegation under heavy shelling and constant fire. Some are afraid to leave their country, but the difficult fighting situation leaves no choice: "We feel we are returning home," the four said. At the end of the complex and extremely dangerous operation and under fire from the members of the delegation, the founder and CEO of the Yad Ezer Association, Shimon Sabag, said excitedly with tears in his eyes: "I am very excited, very happy today, that we succeeded In desperation to locate and rescue the four Holocaust survivors whose homes were destroyed and turned into islands of ruins,
AMBULANCE PURCHASED BY YEL/LGN SUPPORTERS
The small ambulance you see pictured above is the result of an urgent request I received that there was a need to purchase an ambulance in Poland to be used in the rescue and evacuation of holocaust survivors from Ukraine. Within 24 hours funds were transferred and the ambulance was purchased. This is the result of the the faithful supporters here in the US that have donated to the great work that YEL is doing in Israel and now in Ukraine on behalf of holocaust survivors and other Jews escaping the horrors of war.
However, I must tell you that responding to that urgent and worthy need has greatly diminished our resources. I am therefore appealing to you, our supporters, to please consider making a generous donation so when another urgent call comes in, we will be able to respond.
Together we can meet the need!!!

Yad Ezer L’Haver, Haifa, has been engaged for more than 20 years in a broad range of social activities in dozens of areas and everything we tell you about this will always be just the tip of the iceberg for us. Yad Ezer L’Haver was founded in 1995 and in 2001 became a registered NPO with the Registrar of Associations. Actually, the founder and CEO of the association Mr. Shimon Sabag worked many years beforehand in assisting and helping the needy and the community. The organization started as a small soup kitchen, established many years ago and has developed and grown over the years.
